Reception to honor Renoll set

Retiring Tunkhannock Area High School theater director David Renoll will be honored at a reception Sunday, April 9 at 3 p.m. at the Carriage Inn, SR 92S, Tunkhannock Township.

Renoll has directed stage productions at the high school, where he also teaches German, for the last 36 years.

Alumni, family and friends of past and present students involved in the high school theater are invited. Desserts and coffee will be followed by an “open mike” session and sharing of memories. The cost is $3 per person, with reservations and payment due by Wednesday, April 5.

Renoll received a bachelor of science degree in German and secondary education from Millersville University. He holds a master of arts degree in German language and literature from Middlebury College and did graduate work in English at the University of Scranton. He lives with his wife, Penelope, in Tunkhannock. The couple has two children, Stephanie Blasi and Stacie Palmer.
