EATON TWP. – A fire that ripped through a Boice Lane home on Nov. 18 has been ruled accidental by the owner’s insurance company, authorities said Tuesday.
The fire struck the residence, which is located off Sugar Hollow Road, when the owner, Michael Boice, wasn’t home.
State Police Tpr. Timothy Young said the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Triton Hose Company Fire Chief Paul Shaffer said that about 20 firefighters responded to the blaze, which caused heavy damage to the front of the building
He added that smoke and heat damaged the structure’s interior.
Compressed air foam was used to extinguish the fire.
